Nam Took was conceived as a venue for ‘comfort’ food for visitors from the East, and who better to prepare it than Toi, originally from Bangkok. With years of cooking experience running a renowned Thai and Chinese takeaway in Harare, Toy was keen to relocate to Victoria Falls.
Teaming up with hotelier John Gray, Cindy Pietersen from Harare, and restauranteur Andy Falk, an ideal venue was found upstairs at the upmarket shopping and curio centre of Elephant Walk Mall, close to the central CBD and hotels.
Visiting Victoria Falls is not complete without a visit to Nam Took Restaurant at the Elephant Walk Mall where an array of quality African curios, sculptures, artwork and collectibles will ensure you all get some retail therapy too.
Open Monday – Sunday, 12PM – 9PM.
This is an ideal venue for a quick afternoon lunch, a dinner with old friends, or a party spot to celebrate a special occasion.
Actually, we suggest you come early on in your stay – that way you will get insider info about “What to do in Victoria Falls” and you will want to come back for more!
Tour groups and large parties are offered a variety of planned menus or can opt for the traditional Thai-style meal of shared ‘dishes on the table’.
